Jason Matters
Lead Pastor
Jason enjoys teaching and encouraging others to develop their full potential by pursuing God alongside them. He accepted a call to serve at RCN in July 2016. Prior to that, he served a church in Kansas City for 13 years. He graduated with a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 2003.
Jason and Erica have two children, Olivia and Easton. In their spare time, you might find them coaching and playing Little League baseball and softball, hunting or camping in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, or relaxing with a good book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.

Randy Meade
Children’s Pastor
Randy is passionate about partnering with families to help kids discover that God loves them unconditionally. Randy encourages each child along the RidgeKids pathway to GROW in their faith, to SERVE others and to SHARE the love of Christ. Randy joined our team in 2018 as Children’s Pastor. Before coming to RCN, Randy was a math teacher and coach in Vancouver.
Randy and Allison have five sweet girls who love RidgeKids. They are also foster parents and consider it a privilege to stand with kids and families in transition. Randy enjoys coaching youth sports, volunteering at the girls school, and taking care of their chickens at home.

Amber has been part of the Ridgefield Nazarene family since she was just 6 years old. She has a heart for Jesus, is a natural leader and loves to serve being the hands and feet of Jesus. Amber officially joined the team as the youth ministries director in 2019. She’s currently the fearless leader of leaders that invests in the students and young adults in our church. She gets so much joy in walking along side students and their families as they navigate each season. She loves deeply and wants everyone to know the Love of Christ and that they belong.
Amber has been married to her husband Jason for 22 years. Jason, also volunteers as a youth leader and tirelessly works to support his family. Amber home schools their 4 kids Noah, Esther, Gideon and Simon who are active in sports and their church community. Amber is up for any task that challenges her. She loves being a mama to her kids, homesteading, gardening, fishing, hunting and thrives on adventures. Some of her favorite things are coffee, the beach, sunsets and sitting fireside with her people!

Amber Langeliers

Grant Peltzer
Senior Adults Pastor
Grant enjoys building relationships with Senior Adults and is passionate about encouraging Senior Adults to finish their race strong! Grant began his role as Senior Adults Pastor in October 2019. Prior to that, Grant was the RCN Office Administrator. Grant also is the church treasurer and building manager. Grant graduated from NNU with a degree in a Administration in 2010 and was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in April of 2019.
Grant and Renee' have two children, Jordyn and Brendan, and one daughter-in-law, Nikki. Grant enjoys spending time with Renee', as well as playing golf and watching a multitude of sports, and hiking.

Miranda Plyler
Care and Connections Pastor
Past experiences of pain and loss can keep people from experiencing the fullness of freedom and life found in Jesus. As a registered chaplain, Miranda is passionate about implementing a chaplaincy based care model that focuses on building a team of individuals trained in trauma informed ministry practices. Miranda wants to ensure that when people walk into RCN, they know they are safe, loved and seen by creating a refuge where they can find hope and healing. Miranda has been part of the RidgeNaz family since 2017 and joined our staff team in 2018. She currently serves as our Pastor of care ministries and leads the RidgeCare team.
Miranda married her college sweetheart Nate and together they have two boys, Colton and Conner. Nate and the boys also share in her love of serving and you will often find them involved in various ministries like worship and RidgeKids. Miranda and Nate also love serving in The Ridge as they pour into the lives of our youth. In addition to her human kids, she has a great amount of love for her fur-babies. Miranda loves photography and spending time making memories with her family while going on random adventures. When she’s at home relaxing you will usually find her snuggled with her pups and kids, reading a good book, and enjoying a cup of tea!

Jessica Yake
Ridgekids Ministry Coordinator
Jessica is our RidgeKids Ministries Coordinator. She has been passionately serving in RidgeKids for many years and loves to share with kids and families the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jessica is married to her husband Joey, who also serves faithfully in RidgeKids. She has one amazing son, Jonah, who is now a teenager and serves in RidgeKids. Jessica loves coffee and people, so if you see her on a Sunday morning, come introduce yourself and say hi!
