High School Camp (August 7-11)

Departure Day - Friday, August 7, 6:30 am - Please arrive at the church, where parents will check in their student (turn in meds if needed, receive a name tag for both you and your primary bags, and make final payments). We will pray together and load the buses for the drive to Port Orchard.

Return Day - Tuesday, August 11, 1:30 pm  - Return to the Church. Your student can text the ETA as soon as we're on the road if arrival time changes.

Middle School Camp (August 11-15)

Departure Day - Tuesday, August 11, 12:30 pm - Please arrive at the church, where parents will check in their student (turn in meds if needed, receive a name tag for both you and your primary bags, and make final payments). We will pray together and load the buses for the drive to Port Orchard.

Return - Saturday, August 15, 1:30 pm - Return to the Church. Your student can text the ETA as soon as we're on the road if that arrival time changes.

Medication & Health Form:
All meds must be turned in at check-in. This medical form is required to accompany all meds so our camp nurse has the necessary information.

Physician’s Orders for Medication at WaPac High School Camp 2026

(Please note: We’ll need this form for all meds, even if they are over-the-counter, placed in a marked baggie. The instructions ask for a Physician Signature or Stamp; this is not required.)

Devices

One of our goals for camp is to step away from our normal routines and create space to grow in our relationships with Jesus and with one another.

We ask every student to lead with integrity by turning in their phone on arrival to the camp. This is a standard expectation for everyone attending camp. If a student is found to have kept a phone or other prohibited device, parents will be contacted immediately to arrange pickup.

All portable electronics—including cell phones, smartwatches, and gaming devices—must be powered off and turned in upon arrival. Devices will be securely stored throughout camp and returned before departure.

We've found this practice to be a game-changer. Without the constant distraction of screens, students are more engaged in worship, conversations, activities, and the relationships God is building throughout the week. Camp photographers and cabin leaders will also be capturing plenty of photos so campers can relive the memories. Each cabin is also provided a camera so they can capture memories as well. 

When we intentionally set aside time to do something different, the difference matters.

  • Be on time. Camp schedules are posted, and you are expected to be with the group during all scheduled activities, including team times, meals, games, and other events.

  • Listen to and respect leaders

  • No coupling up or physical affection – Our primary goal at camp is to learn about Jesus and grow in our faith. While building stronger relationships with one another is also important, our main focus is on Jesus. If there are issues with pairing up or physical boundaries that require more than one reminder, we will call parents for pickup.

  • No pranks or unkind jokes

  • Use respectful and appropriate language

  • No weapons, drugs, vaping, tobacco, or paraphernalia of the sort

  • Clean up after yourself  - Keep your sleeping area tidy, pitch in to help where possible. (Cabins will be assigned final cleanup duty before departure)

  • Cabins - No hanging out in cabins without permission from your cabin leaders. Cabins are designated for sleeping and discussion time. Only one person per bunk – sleeping areas are off-limits to others.

Health Policy:
If your student or anyone in your household is sick, please stay home. If anyone becomes ill at camp, we will contact parents for pickup as soon as possible. A camp nurse will be present to manage medications and document any incidents.

Camp WAPAC Packing List

Wristwatch - Per the device policy, it is highly encouraged that you have a watch to wear so you can track the schedule! 

Clothes: (daily clothes, something you can get messy for paintball/games, long pants & long sleeve shirt for horseback riding & paintball)

  • Theme Night Clothes: Medieval Night, Ronald McDonald vs Old MacDonald, 60s/70s - The Era Tour

  • PJs

  • Sweatshirt/hoodie/jacket

  • Swimwear (the lakefront is a family-friendly environment. No thongs, Brazilian cut suits or low-rise suits for men or women. Swimwear should be appropriately fitted for sport-like activities that will stay in place.)

Comfortable shoes:

  • Water shoes and/or flip-flops (for showering and waterfront)

  • Closed-toed shoes and socks (horseback riding & paintball)

Personal items: hair/body/face soap, deodorant, toothbrush/paste, brush, sunblock, bug spray, etc.

Towel(s) (swimming and shower)

Sleeping bag/bedding/pillow

Water bottle

Bible/notebook/pen

Flashlight

Snack to share with your cabin (will be turned in when you get to your cabin)

Extra optional supplies: 

  • Fitted twin sheet to cover plastic mattress

  • Cabin decorations

  • Money for snack shack/coffee shop/gift shop

Into the Woods is an interactive variety show that takes place during the week at camp. Students are encouraged to dress up for each night's theme to enhance the fun, energetic atmosphere.

Dressing up is optional, but the themes are listed below!

- 60s/70s - The Era Tour (Everyone's from the 70s)
