Welcome to RidgeKids!

We are excited to partner with you as your child journeys from birth through sixth-grade. We believe that you are your child's greatest influencer, and we consider it a privilege to team up with you.  Our purpose is to partner with parents and families to help kids know and grow in a relationship with Jesus. Our hope is that kids and families will take their faith to the Next Level as they learn to grow, serve, and share along the way.

Join us every Sunday morning for RidgeKids at 9:00 or 10:45

Check out what we are learning in RidgeKids and RidgeKids Jr. this month!

RidgeKids - God didn’t need cable news or social media to broadcast the greatest birth announcement of all time. Instead, God sent an angel to Mary and to Zechariah and a full-on angel choir to the shepherds. And then, because no-big-deal, God placed a brand-new star to share the news with the wise men. Throughout history, the extraordinary news of Jesus’ birth has been spread in every way imaginable, which is why we’re shouting it out through this month’s theme: “Extra! Extra!: Celebrate the Good News of Jesus’ birth.

RidgeKids Jr. - Christmas is such a special time of year. It’s filled with wonder and excitement! There are so many things to see and do at Christmas that it’s easy to miss what Christmas is all about. That’s why we want to use shapes that preschoolers already know to help them remember the most important thing they will ever know: God gave us Jesus. The shapes we’re talking about this month are so much more than just hearts, squares, circles, and stars. They are fun ways to help preschoolers remember the true story of Christmas. Hearts remind us that “God loved the world so much that He gave his only Son” (John 3:16, GNT). Squares look like a gift, and Jesus is absolutely the best gift ever. Circles remind us of fluffy sheep, and God sent angels to announce His great gift to shepherds who were watching their sheep. Then God put a special star in the sky to lead wise men to come worship young Jesus

All 4th-6th grade students are invited to join us in the gym for our Next Level Small Group on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm! We will start Part 2 in our series as we learn how to SERVE. These classes will last four weeks starting January 22nd.

Our Next Level Classes are designed to help our kids take their faith beyond Sunday mornings. They will learn how to apply what they are learning in church to every day life! We will send home assignments which will hopefully open up discussions between kids and parents. Weekly attendance is important because each week builds on concepts from previous lessons. We hope your kids will have fun taking their faith to the Next Level!

We would like everyone to pre-register for this class HERE so that we can have enough supplies and adult help. The dates for this class are Jan. 21, 28, and Feb. 4, 11.

RidgeKids will be celebrating Jesus this Christmas and New Year by wearing Pajama's and having a cereal and cookie decorating party! We hope to see you there. Your kiddos won't want to miss this!

Sunday, December 28, during both services

Kids Church

Every Sunday during 9:00 and 10:45 services we work to create a great experience for your kids to begin their journey with Jesus. We want them to love coming to church so much that they look forward to it all week!

  • RidgeKids Nursery is designed for parents to have an optional space to go with their newborns during services. You can find the nursery on the main level, just behind the Café.

  • RidgeKids JR meets in the early childhood wing on the lower level and is designed to meet the developmental needs of kids eighteen months through Kindergarten.

  • RidgeKids Church meets in the lower level gym for first through sixth-graders.

We take security very seriously so that you can rest easy, knowing that your kids are in good hands. Your children will be supervised and taught by background-checked volunteers who have been trained to follow approved policies and procedures. Our check-in system ensures that your children are released only to you (or to the people you designate).

NEW HERE? You can plan your visit and register your kids so you will be ready to go on Sunday morning! Text “Register for RidgeKids Sunday” to (360)552-7794.

RidgeKids Next Level Small Groups. Are your kids ready to go to the Next Level with Jesus? This fall, winter, and spring we are offering RidgeKids Next Level Small Group for kids 4th-6th grade. This group will help kids develop an authentic faith and make deeper connections as they learn to GROW - SERVE - SHARE their faith. We will meet at church one night a week from 5:30- 7:00 PM. To register, text “RidgeKids Next Level” to (360) 552-7794

Family Events. We sponsor many family events throughout the year. Watch for our Next Level events, sports ministry, Easter services, Camps/Vacation Bible School in June, and Fall Activities in October!

We want your family to enjoy quality time together however we can support that. Check the calendar for upcoming family events!

We believe that your kids will have the best possible adventure with Jesus when we (the Church) partner with you (their parents). We will help build their faith foundation in a fun environment every weekend, and then we will send them home with you to continue the discussion. That might sound a bit scary, but we are here to help! Every week we provide a “Parent Cue” to guide you to Read a Bible story with your kids, Discuss God’s truth and Pray with your kids.

Look for these familiar faces at RidgeKids Sunday Mornings and Events!
