Welcome to RidgeKids!
We are excited to partner with you as your child journeys from birth through sixth-grade. We believe that you are your child's greatest influencer, and we consider it a privilege to team up with you. Our purpose is to partner with parents and families to help kids know and grow in a relationship with Jesus. Our hope is that kids and families will take their faith to the Next Level as they learn to grow, serve, and share along the way.

RidgeKids - On the night before he gave up his life, Jesus told his friends, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Sounds simple, right? But instead of acknowledging that God is love, culture has decided that love is god. Our world applies “love” to everything from romance to a favorite ice cream flavor to encouraging people to do whatever feels best in the moment. That’s why kids need a radical redefinition of what true love looks like: choosing to treat others the way Jesus treats us. This month, we’ll explore four stories from the life of Jesus, starting with Nicodemus. Kids will discover that God loves not just them, but the entire world—everyone who has ever lived or will live—and that this love led Jesus to take on human form to rescue us.
RidgeKids Jr. - There’s nothing sweeter than knowing that Jesus loves you. It’s the sweetest treat we could ever receive, and it’s for every single one of us! His love brings joy to our hearts, peace to our minds, and reminds us that we are never alone. So all month long, we are telling preschoolers Bible stories that show them how much Jesus loves them.
Check Out What Is Happening In RidgeKids
All 4th-6th grade students are invited to join us in the gym for our Next Level Small Group on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm! We will start Part 2 in our series as we learn how to SERVE. These classes will last four weeks starting January 22nd.
Our Next Level Classes are designed to help our kids take their faith beyond Sunday mornings. They will learn how to apply what they are learning in church to every day life! We will send home assignments which will hopefully open up discussions between kids and parents. Weekly attendance is important because each week builds on concepts from previous lessons. We hope your kids will have fun taking their faith to the Next Level!
We would like everyone to pre-register for this class HERE so that we can have enough supplies and adult help. The dates for this class are Jan. 21, 28, and Feb. 4, 11.
Nobody works harder than a group of kids on a mission! Watching our RidgeKids Families serve is inspiring and we have a great opportunity for them!
On Wednesday, February 18th, our PreSchool - 3rd Graders, along with their parents, are invited to come Serve Contagiously! We will have age-appropriate service projects for our families in the gym 5:30-7:00 PM. We will also have snacks and a good time hanging out together! No matter your age, God can use you and your kids to make a big difference for someone this winter!

We've got a fun adventure planned for our 5th and 6th graders at The Source Climbing Center on Sunday, February 22nd! We will climb rock walls, cheer each other on, and have a blast hanging out with friends! We need all of the kids at the church at 5:15 PM, ready to leave. Please feed the kids dinner before they arrive. We will have snacks available and will provide dessert after climbing. Parents can pick their kids up at 8:30 PM at the church. Please read all of the details so that your kids can participate in this fun event. There are 2 steps to register!
First, you can register and pay for your student HERE. The cost is $18.00 for each student, and the cost covers 1.5 hours of climbing fun!
Second, you need to complete the online form for THE SOURCE so that they can participate in the rock wall climbing activities. Click HERE to complete this form.

Kids Church
Every Sunday during 9:00 and 10:45 services we work to create a great experience for your kids to begin their journey with Jesus. We want them to love coming to church so much that they look forward to it all week!
RidgeKids Nursery is designed for parents to have an optional space to go with their newborns during services. You can find the nursery on the main level, just behind the Café.
RidgeKids JR meets in the early childhood wing on the lower level and is designed to meet the developmental needs of kids eighteen months through Kindergarten.
RidgeKids Church meets in the lower level gym for first through sixth-graders.
We take security very seriously so that you can rest easy, knowing that your kids are in good hands. Your children will be supervised and taught by background-checked volunteers who have been trained to follow approved policies and procedures. Our check-in system ensures that your children are released only to you (or to the people you designate).

Life with Jesus is an awesome adventure!
Kids Church - We are having in-person services and we have three options for you and your kids. Everyone in your family can experience RidgeKids in-person on Sundays at 9:00 or 10:45 AM or at our Spanish service Saturday night at 7:00 PM.
RidgeKids Next Level Small Groups. Are your kids ready to go to the Next Level with Jesus? This fall, winter, and spring we are offering RidgeKids Next Level Small Group for kids 4th-6th grade. This group will help kids develop an authentic faith and make deeper connections as they learn to GROW - SERVE - SHARE their faith. We will meet at church one night a week from 5:30- 7:00 PM. Family Events. We sponsor many family events throughout the year. Watch for our Next Level events, sports ministry, Easter services, Camps/Vacation Bible School in June, and Fall Activities in October!
We want your family to enjoy quality time together however we can support that. Check the calendar for upcoming family events!
We believe that your kids will have the best possible adventure with Jesus when we (the Church) partner with you (their parents). We will help build their faith foundation in a fun environment every weekend, and then we will send them home with you to continue the discussion. That might sound a bit scary, but we are here to help! Every week we provide a “Parent Cue” to guide you to Read a Bible story with your kids, Discuss God’s truth and Pray with your kids.

Children’s PastorPastor Randy is our Children’s Pastor. He loves sports, coaching and sharing Jesus. He often makes sports references when describing faith to kids and his team! Early Childhood Coordinator
Courtney has been coming to the Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene since 2007 to attend Youth Group. That is where she met her husband, Jorden. She has a passion and heart for our younger kids and helping them learn about Jesus. She also has a desire to help other families get connected, which has led her to the RidgeKids Jr ministry.
She and her husband, Jorden have 2 young kids, Savannah and Everett. Some things she loves are being a wife and mom, being outside, traveling with my family, and all things coffee and chocolate. In her spare time, you will find her trying to keep her garden alive and well, and finding new projects to do.
