Welcome to RidgeKids!

We are excited to partner with you as your child journeys from birth through sixth-grade. We believe that you are your child's greatest influencer, and we consider it a privilege to team up with you.  Our purpose is to partner with parents and families to help kids take their faith to the Next Level. We want to grow, serve, and share our faith together.

Join us every Sunday morning for RidgeKids at 9:00 or 10:45

Check out what we are learning in RidgeKids and RidgeKids Jr. in the month of NOVEMBER!

RidgeKids - Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35, NIrV) However, sometimes generosity doesn’t come naturally to us. We want the newest and best things, or we want everyone to notice what we have. When we really enjoy the things we have, sometimes that makes it harder for us to be willing to share with others. However, with the help of God’s Spirit, we can learn that HOW we give is more important than even WHAT we give. It’s about our hearts. God showed us the ultimate example of generosity by sending Jesus. This month, we’ll take a look at how we can respond by being generous to others.

MEMORY VERSE: “EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT IS FROM GOD .”

JAMES 1:17A, NIRV

RidgeKids Jr.- Puzzles are a lot of fun. Who doesn’t love a good peg puzzle? The cow goes in the cow shape. The pig goes in the pig shape. Easy, peasy! But as we get older, puzzles can become a lot more difficult, and it can be hard to know where each piece goes. We all face difficult circumstances that are way bigger than what we can handle. It’s in those times that God wants us to trust Him with all our hearts and say, “God’s got it!” We don’t have to have all the pieces or know where they all go. All we need to know is that God sees the big picture and God’s got it. Our job is to trust God and take it one piece at a time. So, whether it’s needing help with a big job, knowing which way to go, not having what we need, or talking to God about anything . . . God can handle it, because God’s got it!

Memory Verse: “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.” PROVERBS 3:5 (NIV)

Our RidgeKids vision is that every child will go on an adventure with Jesus!!

Kids Church

Every Sunday during 9:00 and 10:45 services we work to create a great experience for your kids to begin their journey with Jesus. We want them to love coming to church so much that they look forward to it all week!

  • RidgeKids Nursery is designed for parents to have an optional space to go with their newborns during services. You can find the nursery on the main level, just behind the Café.

  • RidgeKids JR meets in the early childhood wing on the lower level and is designed to meet the developmental needs of kids eighteen months through Kindergarten.

  • RidgeKids Church meets in the lower level gym for first through sixth-graders.

We take security very seriously so that you can rest easy, knowing that your kids are in good hands. Your children will be supervised and taught by background-checked volunteers who have been trained to follow approved policies and procedures. Our check-in system ensures that your children are released only to you (or to the people you designate).

NEW HERE? You can plan your visit and register your kids so you will be ready to go on Sunday morning! Text “Register for RidgeKids Sunday” to (360)552-7794. You can also catch RidgeKids online on Facebook or YouTube on a Sunday morning, or during the week.  Go here for any of these links!

Life with Jesus is an awesome adventure!

We want to invite all of our toddler and pre-school parents to join us once a month for RidgeKids Jr. Playdates! During the Fall/Winter months we will be meeting in the Church Gym for age appropriate activities and if the weather permits we can use the outside playground.

Our goal is to use these playdates as a chance to connect with other parents as the kids play.

Hope to see you there!

We are very excited to announce our RidgeKids Jr GROW Family Group this fall for families with infants, toddlers and preschoolers (note: older siblings are also welcome to come)! We will meet the evening of Sept 19, Oct 24 and Nov 21 @ 5:30pm in the gym.

This will be similar to a family small group gathering with a shared meal to start our time together, childcare provided, Bible discussion and small group time for parents. We will have childcare provided from 6:15pm-7:15pm while parents meet in the gym for the small group speaker and discussion time. Jessica Yake, Chloe Watts and Randy & Allison Meade will be leading our time together.

If you have any questions or want more information about this group, text “RidgeKids Jr GROW Family Group” to the church line at (360) 552-7794. We would love to have your family there each time as we grow together! Register here so that we can coordinate food and materials.

All 4th-6th grade students are invited to join us in the gym for our Next Level Small Group on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm! Our Next Level GROW class will meet on Oct. 16, 23, 30, and Nov. 6

Our RidgeKids "Next Level" class series is designed to help kids go further in their relationship with Jesus than they would on their own. This four-week small group is called GROW and is the first in a three-part series. Kids will engage in Bible reading, prayer, and journaling during the once-a-week workshops with RidgeKids leaders. Kids benefit greatly when they commit to the class, attend each week, and engage in the homework. We will also send out information to parents on ways they can engage in the GROW class as well! It's going to be an opportunity you don't want to miss!

If your kid/kids have taken this class in the past, we encourage them to join us again! Each year brings new perspectives and added content as we bring in new volunteers to share their own growth stories. They will have an opportunity to GROW deeper with us once again.
