Spiritual Practices Self-Assessment
So you want to grow deeper and closer in your relationship with Jesus? The wisdom of spiritual leaders over the centuries suggests that the best way to grow is to follow a set of spiritual practices. As we follow Jesus we should regularly revisit our spiritual practices. Oftentimes when we find our spiritual life feeling dull it can indicate not that there is sin in our life, but that it might be time to experiment with some new practices. This self-assessment can help with that. At other times when we are feeling burned out, it is helpful to evaluate our practices to see if we are living out of balance. This self-assessment can help with that, too.

Instructions
This self-assessment is designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus this year. It is not a test nor will it give you a score that tells you how good of a Christian you are. For each statement, give yourself a number between 1 -100 that indicates how consistently you do what is described. For instance, for the second question, if you read your Bible 3-4 times per week, then give yourself a 100 since this statement describes you 100% of the time. If you shoot for 3-4 times, but sometimes only read once or twice in a week, then give yourself a 50. If you never read your Bible outside of church, give yourself a 0. Resist the temptation to give yourself a higher score just to look good, and resist the temptation to give yourself a lower score out of humility. There is not shame nor are there any prizes. This is only a tool to help you create a plan and artificially high or low numbers will only hurt your plan.
